🔹 1. Insert SIM Card and Turn On the Watch
📶 Insert a Micro SIM card into the slot (chip facing the screen).
🔋 Then turn on the watch.
⚠️ Note: The SIM card must have data and credit.
🔹 2. Set Up the Control Center (Parent’s Phone)
📱 This is the phone that will be the main contact for the watch.
🌐 Make sure that DATA ROAMING is enabled.
✅ Main Setup:
✉️ Send an SMS from your phone to the watch’s number with the following text:
pw,123456,center,PARENT_PHONE_NUMBER#
🔤 Use lowercase letters, commas, and don’t forget the # at the end.
🔹 3. Mobile Network Settings (APN Configuration)
📡 Send an SMS with the correct APN settings based on your mobile provider:
- Nova: pw,123456,apn,net.nova.is,,,27411#
- Vodafone: pw,123456,apn,gprs.is,,,27402#
- Síminn: pw,123456,apn,internet.is,,,27401#
- Hringdu: pw,123456,apn,internet,,,27401#
⏱️ The watch should reply within 1 minute if successful.
❗ If no reply:
- ✅ Make sure DATA ROAMING is enabled.
- 🔋 Check if the watch is turned on.
- 📶 Try calling the watch to confirm SIM functionality.
- 🔑 Try using password 523681 instead of 123456.
- 🧠 Use the correct password if it has been changed.
- ✍️ Ensure commas, dots, and spaces are typed correctly.
- 📞 Confirm that the correct APN is used for your provider.
🔹 4. Change the Password ("pw")
🔐 It is necessary to change the default password to a personal one.
📏 The new password must be 5–9 lowercase characters.
✉️ Send SMS:
pw,OLD_PASSWORD,pw,NEW_PASSWORD#
📌Example: pw,123456,pw,888999#
📍 No confirmation will be sent, but you can test it with:
pw,NEW_PASSWORD,find#
🔔 The watch will ring if the command works.
🔹 5. Restart the Watch and Install the App
🔄 Turn off the watch by holding the Power/SOS button for 15–60 seconds.
🔛 Turn it back on with the same button.
📲 Install the Wonlex app on the parent’s phone.
