💡 Shelly Smoke Detector Instructions

⚙️ Activate Pairing Mode

🔁 Press the smoke detector button 5 times quickly
💚 Green light will blink
🔵 Blue light will stay on for 30–120 seconds

⏳ Pairing Time

📡 The detector will remain in pairing mode for 30–120 seconds
📲 During this time, you can connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using the Shelly app

🔄 Pending Connection

📱 When the detector appears in the app as "Pending Connection":
👉 Press the button 3 times quickly to wake it and establish the connection

🧼 Factory Reset

🔁 Press the button 5 times quickly
🔄 The detector will also enter pairing mode for 30 seconds afterward

🧪 Test the Smoke Detector

⏱️ Hold the button for 3 seconds to test the detector

🔕 Silence the Alarm

👉 Press the button once quickly to silence the alarm

⚠️ Note

🔋 The smoke detectors are not interconnected, as they operate in low-power sleep mode
💤 They only wake up when:

• 🔋 Low battery
• 🔥 Fire detected
• 👉 3x quick press

📡 If you still want to use them in an interconnected system, you can program the detector to send a signal to another Shelly device (e.g., a siren or bell)

🔌 It is recommended to connect the siren/bell to a backup power supply with batteries, so it continues to work if power is lost during a fire

📶 Keep in mind: If power is lost before the detector senses the fire, the Wi-Fi router may also go offline, preventing the signal from being sent
