🛠️ Thomson | Inserting a SIM and SD Card
You can insert a SIM card into Thomson laptops to access 4G connectivity, and an SD card to expand the laptop’s storage! 💾📶
🔧 On the bottom of the laptop, there is a cover that can be opened by removing a single Philips screw.
❕ It’s recommended to use a PH00 Philips screwdriver or bit to remove the screw. ❕
🔍 Once the cover is open, you’ll see two slots:

-
- 📲 The SIM card slot is on the left
- 💽 The SD card slot is on the right

🧩 To open the slots: Press down on the gray metal latch at the front of the slot – it will release, allowing you to open it as shown in the image.
📥 Insert the cards into their respective slots as shown in the image.
🔒 Finally, close the metal latch over the slot and slide it up to secure the cards.

🪛 Replace the bottom cover and screw it back in place.
✅ After installation:
- The cards should now appear in the operating system.
- 📶 In some cases, you may need to manually enter APN settings for the SIM card if they don’t load automatically.
